Rokeby acquired a nine acre site from George Wimpey in June 2006 and subsequently obtained Planning Consent for 130,000 sq ft of offices and employment accommodation in December 2007.

The site is in a highly accessible location adjacent to the interchange of the A66 and 1825 Way (the Stockton Centre/Ingleby Barwick By Pass) overlooking the river Tees and in close proximity to Preston Farm and Teesdale Business Park.

Terms were agreed in December 2006.

Construction commenced in March 2007 on the first phase of 100,000 sq ft (gross external areas) and subsequently terms have been agreed with AKER Solutions and Brulines, to provide new headquarter buildings.
