Phase 2B Shields Road, Newcastle upon Tyne

Rokeby as part of its Development Agreement with Newcastle City Council has secured Planning Consent for an additional 6,000 sq ft of retail accommodation which will be constructed in individual High Street Units.

Previously, Rokeby was responsible for the development of a 70,000 sq ft Morrison’s foodstore, 30,000 sq ft Gala Bingo Hall and KFC restaurant as part of the regeneration strategy. A further 12,500 sq ft of retail space will be promoted in a third phase following completion of Phase 2B, which is scheduled for February 2009.
